In the midst of all the chaos going around here the last few days, I woke up this morning with an intense peacefulness. Somewhere between the hot coffee, cool breeze and Fleetwood Mac, I looked around our room and realized how inspiring it is to have a place to free our creativity, a place full of everything that makes us happy. Art supplies, books, journals, notes from friends, memories caught on film, paintings from our favorite artists, our own art, flowers. All of these things keep our creativity constantly flowing, reminds us of all the beauty we have experienced in our lives, and fills us with the excitement of things yet to be made, friends yet to be met, and places we still want to go.
